    HEAD AND NECK

    Indications:

    1. CVA/TIA
    2. Asymptomatic carotid bruit
    3. High-risk pre-op screening
    4. Neck lesions, hx of carotid pathology and fibromuscular dysplasia

    Indications:

    1. New-onset localized headache
    2. Temporal tenderness or decreased temporal artery pulse
    3. Suspicion for temporal (giant cell) arteritis
    4. Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate >50mm/h

    TRUNK

    Indications:

    1. Pulsatile abdominal mass or bruit
    2. Male >65 yo with hx of smoking (screening)
    3. Hx of HTN with family hx of abdominal aortic aneurysm and age >50 years
    4. Surveillance of vascular intervention
    5. Coarctation of aorta

    Indications:

    1. Hypertension (new onset, uncontrolled, or worsening)
    2. Unexplained renal failure
    3. Fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD)
    4. Renal artery surveillance of vascular intervention

    Indications:

    1. New-onset abdominal pain and/or postprandial pain
    2. Significant weight loss (fear of food)
    3. Abdominal bruit
    4. Ischemic colitis
    5. Surveillance of surgical revascularization

    Indications :

    1. Chronic pelvic pain in a female for >6m
    2. Lumbar pain or pelvic heaviness
    3. Dyspareunia or post-coital tenderness
    4. Dysmenorrhea
    5. Urinary frequency
    6. Unexplained hematuria
    7. Vulvar, perineal, gluteal or lower limb varices
    8. Hemorrhoids

    UPPER LIMBS

    Indications:

    1. Claudication (arm pain with exertion)
    2. Numbness or paresthesia
    3. Cold/cyanosis of hands or digits
    4. Unequal brachial blood pressures

    Indications:

    1. Mapping for possible future AV fistula in the setting of chronic renal failure
    2. Dialysis fistula failure (no thrill, unsuccessful dialysis)
    3. Pain/swelling at the site of AV fistula
    4. Aneurysm

    Indications:

    1. Swelling or pain of arm, neck, face, or chest
    2. Indwelling catheters or hx of their use
    3. Documented DVT or superficial phlebitis

    LOWER LIMBS

    Indications:

    1. Abnormal physiologic test (ABI)
    2. Loss of previously palpable pulses
    3. Intermittent claudication or rest pain

    Delay in ischemic ulcer healing

    Indications:

    1. Swelling
    2. Pain/tenderness
    3. Palpable cord with or without tenderness
    4. CVA with documented foramen ovale
    5. Positive D-dimer test
    6. Documentation of a source of pulmonary embolism

    Indications:

    1. Pain, aching, and heaviness of lower extremities
    2. Throbbing or neuropathy-like symptoms
    3. Leg swelling
    4. Varicosities
    5. Venous stasis dermatitis
    6. Prior hx of DVT
    7. Leg ulcers
